Aside from her love of procedures, she enjoys outpatient medicine, OB, sports medicine and inpatient medicine. Lloyd is full time faculty and spends every moment of her day enjoying her role in teaching future family medicine physicians, whom she hopes will enjoy their roles in medicine as passionately as she does. Originally a resident of Los Gatos, California in the Silicon Valley, Dr. Lloyd went to Texas A& M for her undergraduate degree in Biology where she began a minor in Business and Education. Her road of education brought her to Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA next where she thoroughly enjoyed every second of medical school. After her third year as scheduling chief resident, she was invited to remain at the residency program as an attending physician. During these four years, she stayed busy; she taught family medicine residents, served her four years of active duty AF commitment, spent six months deployed to Ali Al Salem in Kuwait, published a cover article in AFP on Burns, started a large grant funded double blind research project, got married to her medical school sweetheart, Aaron, and most importantly had a daughter, Zoey, now 5 yrs old. She has enjoyed white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, playing volleyball, snow skiing, snowboarding, playing basketball and swimming on a regular basis since moving to Colorado.
